Drain excess water from tofu by using a tofu press or wrap tofu in a paper cloth and place it under something heavy. Leave it for a few minutes (10-15 minutes).
Meanwhile, prepare your sauce. Mix all the ingredients and set it aside. Cut tofu into cubes and coat each cube in cornstarch. Heat neutral oil in a skillet and place cubed tofu. Fry it from all sides until crispy and golden. Set aside.
In the same skillet, fry broccoli and red capsicum for a few minutes until it gets tender. You can also eat it raw.
Add fried tofu and sauce to a skillet and mix everything together. Cook for 3-5 minutes.
Divide general tso's tofu in two bowls, sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped spring onion. Enjoy!
