Ingredients

  • 1 medium size red cabbage shredded
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar white
  • 1/4 cup wine vinegar red
  • 2 cloves garlic peeled and minced
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds optional
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper freshly cracked
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions

  • Shred your cabbage and put it in a container with a lit
  • Mix all the ingredients for the marinade and pour it over shredded cabbage.
  • Close the container with lit and leave it for fermentation for 3-4 hours. Don't put it in a fridge, it should ferment at room temperature.
  • After the fermentation time, let the container with fermented red cabbage in a fridge chill for at least 1 hour.
  • Remove bay leaves before serving. Enjoy!
