Ingredients

  • 1 can black beans rinsed and drained
  • 2 cups plant-based milk not soy milk
  • 2 tbsp raw cocoa powder
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 4 dates pitted
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter optional, for an extra creamy texture

Instructions

  • To make a black bean drink, blend all the ingredients together in a food processor until fairly smooth. If you wish to have an extra creamy texture of your drink, add 1 tbsp peanut butter (smooth).
  • Divide into two glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

To make chocolate strips on jar sides, mix a little bit of cocoa powder, melted peanut butter and melted dairy-free chocolate chips. Create a paste and apply it inside the glasses.
