Sweet Tahini Porridge

With a little bit of tahini, you can make a great sweet porridge for your breakfast! Add date syrup and berries! Totally vegan. It can be also gluten-free if you use gluten-free oats!

Ingredients

To make porridge:

  • 2/3 cup rolled oats
  • 1 1/4 cup plant-based milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp cardamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 2 tsp date or agave syrup

Toppings

  • fresh or frozen berries
  • peanut butter (runny)
  • shredded coconut

Instructions

  • In a saucepan bring to boil milk and oats. Add all the spices and cook for 7-8 minutes or until the porridge thickens. Remove from heat.
  • Add tahini, constantly stirring. Mix it with date or agave syrup.
  • Add your toppings. If you use frozen berries, heat them up in a microwave for a little bit until they release their juices.
