Ingredients

For mini tarts:

  • 1/2 cup almond meal
  • 1 cup raw walnuts
  • 2 tbsp black sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp white sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup dessicated coconut
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 5 dates pitted
  • 1 tbsp raw cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil melted
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

For caramel frosting:

  • 1 can full fat coconut cream only thick part
  • 3 dates pitted
  • 1 tsp raw cacao powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup optional

For garnish:

  • pomegranate seeds
  • berries

Instructions

  • Place all the ingredients for the tarts in a high-speed food processor. Pulse it a few times until a very sticky dough is formed.
  • Press the dough into a tart or muffin pan. Place it in a fridge while making the frosting.
  • Make the frosting by adding all the ingredients into a food processor. Process until creamy but the solid frosting is formed.
  • Apply the frosting on the top of each tart. Put the tarts back in the fridge.
  • Decorate with berries and pomegranate seeds.
  • Enjoy!
