I called this warm porridge ‘Raspberry and oat porridge’ because raspberries were only berries I found in my fridge at that time. You can use any berries. This porridge would taste amazing with blueberries, boysenberries or strawberries!
If you want to keep this porridge gluten-free, don’t forget to cook with gluten-free oats! If you like your porridge sweeter, you can also add maple syrup or agave nectar.

This porridge is absolutely perfect for a quickly prepared breakfast when you don’t have a lot of time in the morning or you just don’t want to spend a lot of time cooking.
I topped my porridge with pecans,because in my opinion, it just a great combination with berries. Fell free to use any other of your favourite toppings – other nuts, such as almonds, cashews, hazelnuts…
Warm Raspberry and Oat Porridge
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1/3 cup gluten-free oats
- 1/2 apple grated with skin on
Toppings:
- raspberries
- pecans
Instructions
- In a pan, add raspberries with 1 1/2 tbsp water. Let it bubble for 2 minutes.
- Add milk, grated apple, and oats and cook it for 3 minutes until thickened.
- Transfer to a bowl. Top with pecans and more raspberries.
- Enjoy!
