I don’t know who invented tofu but I will be glad for the rest of my life. I love tofu! I love all types of tofu. And you should too! Why?
And that’s exactly what I did in this recipe! I made very delicious Asian-style marinade for tofu and then I added to salad! Do you want a quick, easy, and healthy lunch? Try this marinated tofu salad!
Jump to RecipePrint RecipeTofu is an amazing source of plant-based protein. For vegans and vegetarians, tofu works as absolutely fantastic substitute for meat. It contains all the essential amino acids. Since tofu is very low in fat , it’s good to consume it while on a diet.
For this recipe, you will need a firm or extra firm tofu. You get the best result when you drain all the water from tofu. Trust me, there is a lot of water inside tofu even though some tofu might look quite dry.
For this purpose, I recommend using a tofu press. If you incorporate tofu in your cooking often, it’s a great investment which you won’t regret!

You can eat this marinated tofu salad as a main dish. In this case, eat the whole lot and don’t divide into 2 bowls. However, it should be enough salad to fill 2 people! You can also eat it as a salad or a side dish and accompany your main dish (also in Asian-style).
If you want to keep this recipe gluten-free, don’t forget to use tamari sauce or any other gluten-free soy sauce.
