How to make keto peanut butter cups
These keto peanut butter cips are so easy. You need only 5 ingredients! One peanut cub is low in carbs and it has no refined sugar. It cointains about 9.3g carbs and 239.4kcal which is very good and siutable for a low-carb and keto diet!
To make these keto peanut butter cups you need:
- Smooth (creamy) peanut butter. Peanut butter is high in fat and low in carbs so it’s perfectly suitable for low-carb and keto diet.
- Fine sea salt
- Vanilla extract
- Dark chocolate. That’s excellent source of fat! I used 90% cocoa dark chocolate from Lindt Excellence. This chocolate is seriously so good that it’s addictive! You can use any dark chocolate from 70% cocoa to 90% cocoa!
- Coconut oil. Once again, coconut oil is very good for a keto diet due to its high amount of fat. Did you know that cocout oil has many more health benefits? Read this article to find out more!
- OPTIONAL: liquid sweetener. Liquid stevia is pretty good and that’s what I always use!
- You also need silicone cupcake moulds.

Keto Peanut Butter Cups
Equipment
- Silicone Cupcake Moulds
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
- 1/4 tsp fine sea salt
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp liquid sweetener optional
- 150g dark chocolate (70-90%)
- 2 tbsp coconut oil melted
Instructions
- Melt 50g of dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan with boiling water. Stir into 1/2 tbsp coconut oil.
- Scoop about 1 tablespoon of melted chocolate in silicone moulds and pop them in a freezer while preparing the peanut butter filling.
- Mix together smooth peanut butter, fine sea salt, and liquid sweetener if using. Take the silicone moulds from the freezer and divide the peanut butter filling in between them and scoop a little bit in each.
- Repeat step 1 with the rest of the dark chocolate and the rest of coconut oil. Pour over the peanut butter filling in silicone moulds and place back in a freezer.
- Let it sit for additional 1.5-2 hours in the freezer before serving.
