This time of a year is here again! A new year brings new challenges, new goals, new plans, new obstacles… And a new opportunity for the world’s favourite VEGANUARY!
If your goals for the new year are taking care of yourself, improve your health (physical, emotional, and mental), look after animals and defending their rights, and being more environment-friendly, then you SHOULD join the Veganuary movement!!
January is all about VEGANUARY!
What is Veganuary? It’ a worldwide movement that starts on the 1st of January and it lasts all January. The whole month you will eat only plant-based food. It’s a gorgeous time during you will learn a lot not only about vegan food about a vegan diet as a whole. You will learn a lot about yourself, your body and mind, in the first place!
At the end of January, you summarize the whole month. Be honest with yourself and answer a few questions. How do you feel? Do you feel healthier, more energized, fresher, with a clearer mind? Maybe you have even lost some weight?
That’s good because you now are officially experiencing some of the proven health benefits of a vegan diet! Keep up the great work!
The number of people who are vegans globally has been sharply rising! According to the Vegan Society, there were only 150,000 (0.25%). Two years later, the number of vegans grew up to 276,000 (0.46%) and in 2019 the vegans made up for 1.16% of the British population. The research found that more than half a million British eat a plant-based diet.
As you may suspect, the popularity of a vegan diet is on a surge. There are more and more vegan products in supermarkets, including mock meat, dairy-free milk, youghurt, and cheeses, and others. It has become significantly easier to thrive on a vegan diet and get a variety of foods!
